This is for members to gain and expand their knowledge/experience of operating on HF Bands using various modes of transmission.

The venue will be Crosby Beach Car Park, at the end of Hall Road West, Waterloo,  which is near the RNLI Lifeguard Station and where the nearest postcode is L23 8SY. (What Three Words location: miss.term.soil)

Tony and Sharon have offered to bring their motor home, to be used as the shack, with Lee providing a vertical antenna and generator.

The main rig will be society’s transceiver and power supply.

For comparison, there will be a mobile station there together with a transceiver, laptop, leisure battery and a range of HF Whips.
